Scholarship and Writing

• Authored two book chapters currently in the publication process

Grants and Partnerships

• Co-authored a grant supporting the launch of the Hunstville Region Mathematics Teacher Education Partnership, or HSV-MTEP, in collaboration with Oakwood University and the University of Alabama, Huntsville.

Teaching and Curriculum Development

• Authored six undergraduate and graduate level mathematics education course syllabi for Alabama A&M University.

• Taught courses across early childhood, elementary, and secondary mathematics education, as well as in instructional technology.

National Leadership Recognition

• Selected as an AMTE STaR Fellow.

• Supports early career teachers as a mentor through the NCTM Early Career Teaching Fellows program.

• Served as an invited speaker for two national mathematics conferences.

• Served on the NCTM Research and Program Committees

• Member of the authorship team for an NCTM position statement on teaching mathematics to multilingual students.

• Continued service as a board member and conference committee member for NCSM.

Community-Engaged and Externally Connected Work

• Facilitated a BranchED research project focused on AI simulation-based learning experiences in mathematics teacher preparation and professional learning.

• Supported The Bridge nonprofit through mathematics tutoring.

• Serving as a Mathematics Coordinator/Director for the Bulldog Summer Camp at Alabama A&M University.
